electrical contracting & maintenance service
throughout Dumfries & Galloway as well as
the A74 corridor extending to the Borders, Glasgow,
Edinburgh & Cumbria.
We can operate on measured terms or fixed price
contracts for all forms electrical work including
street lighting, lighting design & installation,
fire alarms, ventilation systems, inspection &
testing of portable appliances, data wiring &
containment.
We are happy to carry out the smallest repair
to large installations with emergency call out
and 24 hour service available.

HISTORY
One-off Designs
The Company was originally
founded in 1965 under the name of William
W Bell, Electrical Engineer. The client
list in these early days was based on private
clients, farming clients, local authorities,
building contractors and commercial end
users. Many of these original clients still
trade with us today.
ACCREDITATION
Memberships of the National Inspection Council
for Electrical Installation Contractors
(NICEIC) and the Electrical Contractors
Association of Scotland (ECA) (now Select)
were applied for and subsequently obtained.
These coveted memberships are still held
by the Companies today.
The Company also became a member of Construction
Line in 1999.
In 1984 we acquired an
existing electrical company in Dumfries
and consequently Focal Point Electrical
was formed. 1990 saw the original William
W Bell name being changed to Bell Electrical
of Lockerbie to give a more modern image.
At this time a new corporate identity united
both Electrical Companies.
Bell Electrical Group Limited encompassing
Focal Point Electrical and Bell Electrical
of Lockerbie was formed from 01/12/1999.
In the past we have worked all over Scotland
and the North of England as well as the
Islands and are willing to undertake work
anywhere in the UK. We are happy to tender
for individual contracts up to £300,000
at any time.
